Upcoming ETP 'Food for Life' Events
National 'Food for Life' Technology Platforms tenth meeting - 2 November

This event will be held in collaboration with the German federation in Bonn, Germany. It represents an opportunity for the ETP and its network of National Technology Platforms to discuss new research and innovation priorities for the European food and drink industry.

European 'Food for Life’ Technology Platform sixth Stakeholder meeting - 22 November

The first draft of the ETP strategic research and innovation agenda will be presented at this stakeholder event on 22 November.

ETP contribution to the Commission consultation on the Knowledge Bio-Based Economy

The consultation on ‘Bio-Based Economy for Europe: State of Play and Future Potential' aims to feed into the upcoming European Strategy and Action Plan Towards a Sustainable Bio-Based Economy by 2020, which is planned to be published before the end of 2011.

The ETP together with FoodDrinkEurope issued a short position paper on the European Parliament  own-initiative report 'Green Paper: From challenges to opportunities, towards a common strategic framework for EU research and innovation'.

ETP 'Food for Life' feeds into the future strategy of European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT)
The EIT was set up in 2008 with the objective of delivering world-class innovation via involving   stakeholders in the “knowledge triangle” (research, education, business). The Commission is now seeking views before finalising the Strategic Innovation Agenda (SIA) and accompanying amended EIT Regulation.
